Updates – November ’19

Well we’re a few days into November now, and I thought it was time for a bit of an update! I’ve got quite a lot planned for this month, kids!

I got back from my trip to the UK a couple of weeks ago (check out my Instagram for some amazing Highlands scenery and some not-so-amazing drunk photos with old friends) and after a few days recovering, I’ve jumped back into life!

I’m currently looking for a new job (bit of a long story there), chugging away through NaNoWriMo, and basically just doing all those boring life admin things that tend to fall by the wayside – booking doctors appointments, checking up on our budget, that sort of thing.

I’ve got two weeks of posts ready to go, so enjoy those over the coming days, and I’m planning on spending this week catching up on my reading and smashing out a few reviews. Once that’s out the way, I’m going to look into my next project – starting a YouTube channel!

I’ve been inspired watching a few of my friends do it, and we all know I’ve got plenty to say – and honestly, it’s an excuse to put on clothes and tidy myself up a bit. I’m about to hit my second week fully at home with no work plans, so I’m getting veeerryyyy comfortable in my PJs!

It will, naturally, be book focused, but I’ve not really got much beyond that at this stage. Well that and deciding how I’m going to arrange my bookshelf as a backdrop (that’s another plan for this week!)

So I guess that’s where we’re up to – I’ve got a good, clear head (I’m as surprised as anyone about that!), I’ve got lots of ideas, and I’ve got time to put them into practice. I think we could be onto a winner here!

What are your plans for the month? And any BookTubers got any tips for little old me? Let me know in the comments!
